The much anticipated annual Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) is scheduled to make its grand 25th return to the city from July 1 to September 4, 2022. Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), DSS offers an excellent opportunity to rediscover the city and make the most of a packed schedule of shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences for a summer of family fun.
DSS plans to up the ante for its 25th anniversary with lots of activities in Dubai’s malls to keep the kids busy, specially curated culinary events and unmissable retail offers. As the name suggests, surprises are also in store, with fantastic prizes, must-see pop-ups, and special promotions. Shopaholics will be delighted to hear about the return of SHARE Millionaire and Daily Surprises, while the DSS 2022 Summer Restaurant Week is sure to delight foodies and their families.
The iconic characters Modesh and Dana will celebrate the festival’s 25th anniversary with a pop-up creation of their world at the Dubai World Trade Center. Modesh World will run from July 1 to August 28, giving kids a summer to remember with tons of entertaining and educational activities for families. Modesh and Dana will also make special appearances at shows, events, and malls across Dubai.
DSS will also give everyone plenty of chances to win incredible rewards with a host of raffles and offers in time for the “Eid in Dubai – Eid Al Adha” and the annual “Back to School” campaigns.
