After a two-year hiatus, the 28th International Mediterranean Market (IMTM) opens today, March 29, in the presence of the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, Minister of Tourism Yoel Razvozov, Ministers of Tourism from Bahrain, Lithuania, Greece, and Italy, plus the CEOs of Tourism Ministries from Israel, Colombia, Portugal and Morocco.
Speaking of Morocco, this is the first time ever the country will take part, hosting the largest exhibition space at EXPO Tel Aviv, with the delegation headed by the CEO of the Moroccan National Tourism Office, Adel El Fakir.
This year’s exhibition will feature more than 40 countries worldwide, including Morocco, Azerbaijan, the Philippines, Italy and Sardinia, Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Croatia, and many more. Exhibitors from around the world will join Israeli exhibitors – the Nature and Parks Authority, the Galilee Development Authority, Emek Yizrael Tourism, Arkia, and more.
The exhibition is organized by Ortra and I.T.N, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and sponsored by the Israel Hotels Association, the Chamber of Inbound Tourism Organizers, the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Tourism Association, and the Israel Travel Agents Association. The exhibition is the prime event for all tourism sectors and is open to the general public.
