American Airlines adds flights on the TLV-NYC route

The largest airline in the world is preparing for a spike in demand for flights during the Jewish holidays, and ramps up its flight frequency in October on the route from Tel Aviv to New York City

American Airlines will ramp up its flight schedule on the JFK-TLV route with six additional dates during October. This is an addition to the airline’s scheduled flights that month – a daily flight to NYC (JFK) and three weekly flights to Miami (MIA).

The additional flights are now open for sale and will be operated on Boeing 777-200.

Jan Folman-Lavie, National Sales Manager of American Airlines in Israel: “In light of the demand for flights to the US during the holidays, we’ve decided to increase the flight frequency on the New York route and allow our customers variety and flexibility. Our flight teams are looking forward to welcoming passengers as they go back to flying, and providing them with a pleasant flight experience on our Boeing 777-200s.”

Rhett Workman, Managing Director for Europe and Asia- Pacific at American Airlines added: “We are excited to increase the number of flights to Israel this October and provide more options for our customers looking to fly to New York and beyond during the holidays.”

Passengers can choose from three classes – Economy, Economy Premium, and Business Class – and enjoy Wi-Fi service and an advanced entertainment system with announcements and programs in Hebrew, as well as the option to pre-order a kosher meal and wine.
