On top of the NYC to Tel Aviv route, recently announced, American Airlines will now offer nonstop service from Miami to Tel Aviv, and to another exciting destination.
American Airlines plans on strengthening its Miami hub with the announcement of two new international routes: to Tel Aviv (TLV) and Paramaribo, Suriname (PBM), beginning this summer. All flights will be available for purchase Feb. 15.
The three weekly flights from MIA to TLV begins June 4, and will operate on a Boeing 777-200. On the 12-hour flight, customers will have the option to choose Flagship Business, with lie-flat seats, Premium Economy or Main Cabin.

According to Brian Znotins, American’s Vice President of Network Planning, “American has always been the biggest and best in Miami with more flights to more places than any other carrier, and as demand recovers, we’ll be even bigger and better than ever before. Our new service to Tel Aviv and Paramaribo are the start of further growth in Miami, and as the city grows and expands, American will do the same.”
From July, American will also be the first U.S. carrier to offer nonstop service to Paramaribo, Suriname. The airline offers 5-weekly flights on Airbus 319, and Suriname becomes its ninth country served in South America.
