Around the World in 180 Days, with Oceania Cruises

In 2023, the premium cruise company will offer a one-of-a-kind 6-month world cruise on board the luxury liner Insignia. Sales will open January 27th.

Oceania Cruises, a premium cruise line and subsidiary of NCL Corporation, a pioneer in the round-the-world cruises from 2015 onwards, offers the next Around the World in 180 Days in 2023. Sales for this unique world cruise on the luxury ship Insignia will open January 27, 2021.

The round-the-world cruise will set sail from San Francisco on January 15, 2023, on board the 684-passenger Insignia. The ship will visit 96 destinations in 33 countries and four continents, ending back in San Francisco.

According to the company website, the cruise will cost from 41,599 USD per person, with a choice between 64 optional excursions, a free beverage package or 6,400 USD shipboard credit.

The 180-day cruise includes, among other things, round-trip air tickets from a variety of North American airports, free medical care, unlimited internet, free laundry services, exclusive shoreside events, luggage delivery for guests from the US and Canada, 1-Night pre-cruise luxury hotel stay, and transfers back and forth between the port and hotels within a 30-mile radius.

The 2023 voyage will explore more than 60 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, with five special shoreside events: An Argentine fiesta in Buenos Aires, with a Gaucho horse-riding experience and tango lessons; a visit to the Boschendal Wine Estate and farmers market near Cape Town; a Bedouin experience in the Al-Maha Desert Resort outside Dubai; a Burmese Monk Donation Ceremony in Yangon, Myanmar; a candlelit evening at Thien Cung Cave in Ha Long Bay, including a dragon dance.
