The Uzbekistan-based airline Centrum Air is continuing its growth momentum and establishing itself as a significant player in Central Asia.
Founded in early 2023, the airline currently operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320 and A321neo aircraft. After launching a direct route between Tel Aviv and Tashkent, inaugurated in a festive ceremony at Ben Gurion Airport and attracting significant interest from Israeli travelers, the airline has announced two additional destinations: Starting October 3, it will operate direct flights from Delhi to Tashkent twice a week, and as already published in Passport News, it will also launch a new route to Phuket, Thailand, one of the most popular leisure destinations in Asia and the world.

Israeli travelers can also benefit from these new options, with connecting flights for tours in Southeast Asia and efficient links to key markets in India.
Centrum Airways is represented in Israel by APG Israel from the Maman Group and is based at Tashkent International Airport. The company was established at the beginning of 2023 and boasts a fleet of five new Airbus aircraft flying to 17 destinations across Asia, the Middle East, and the East. Among the connecting destinations operated from Tashkent are Istanbul, Dubai, Saint Petersburg, Batumi, and more.
Centrum Air currently serves over half a million passengers a year and is planning to significantly expand its operations: increasing the fleet to approximately 20 aircraft by the end of 2026, entering new markets, and adding flights to Europe, Russia, China, and other countries in Central Asia. Among others, it has already announced the opening of a new route to Copenhagen, the company's first European destination.
The company emphasizes innovation and passenger comfort: the aircraft are equipped with new systems, and the crews undergo international training to enhance service and safety experiences. In Uzbekistan, Centrum Air is seen as an integral part of the country's aviation growth, and the company's investment aligns with a broader trend of making Tashkent a major aviation hub.
