Serbia's national airline, Air Serbia, recorded its best monthly results since its inception in August 2025.
According to the company's data after it halted all flights to Israel due to the "Steel Swords" conflict, 561,773 passengers flew with the airline last month, about 3,000 more than in August of the previous year.
In total, from the beginning of the year until the end of August, 3,110,985 passengers have flown with the airline, a rise of about 4% compared to the same period in 2024. There was also an increase in the number of flights: from January to August 2025, the airline operated 32,908 flights, approximately a 5% rise from the previous year.
Air Serbia CEO, Jiří Marek, said: “We have put behind us a historic month. The results we achieved prove that the company continues to grow and expand. I am proud of all our employees who give their utmost every day to ensure our passengers reach their destinations quickly and comfortably. Thank you to all the passengers for their trust, it drives us to be even better.”
