As part of the IAA Munich exhibition, BMW unveiled the first model from the NEUE KLASSE family - the BMW iX3 electric, which is intended to mark the beginning of a new era for the brand.

This crossover features advanced technology, a modern design, and a significant upgrade in range and driving experience.

The iX3 is equipped with a new battery that provides a range of over 800 km according to the WLTP standard, alongside ultra-fast charging at a rate of up to 400 kilowatts, allowing an addition of about 370 km of driving within just 10 minutes.

BMW notes that the model incorporates numerous innovations in computing, dynamics, and safety. For example, the BMW Panoramic iDrive system transforms the front windshield into a projection surface, offering a personalized digital driving experience.

The cabin has been redesigned with a focus on simplicity, space, and technology, including a panoramic display for all passengers and a new operating system (Operating System X).

As part of the sustainability strategy, a third of the iX3's production materials are recycled, with an emphasis on reducing the carbon footprint throughout the vehicle's life cycle.

Production of the model will begin later this year at BMW's new plant in Debrecen, Hungary, with its arrival in Israel planned for the end of the second quarter or the beginning of the third quarter of 2026.

Later, the BMW i3 electric series will also be launched, representing the new generation of the 3 Series - one of the models most identified with the brand's success.
