Disaster in Sydney: Worker Killed in Cargo Terminal Accident

New South Wales Police reported that on Sunday morning (9/7/25), a cargo worker, approximately 40 years old, was killed at the Sydney Airport cargo terminal.

According to the report, around 10:30 AM, a notification was received about a worker hit by a heavy vehicle at the cargo terminal. Emergency teams and paramedics from NSW Ambulance were called to the scene but were forced to pronounce him dead.

Officers from South Sydney Station established an investigation scene, and the incident is not being treated as suspicious criminally.

The police have requested that anyone with additional information contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or through their website, with the option to provide information anonymously.
