Round-the-Clock Weekend Metro Service. Starting this Saturday, September 13, Athens will transition to permanent 24-hour weekend municipal transport service. The public transportation authority OASA will operate Metro lines 2 and 3, light rail lines T6 and T7, as well as select bus routes, providing extensive coverage throughout the city.

The new initiative, following a successful multi-week trial in Greece's capital, aims to improve the overall transportation experience in the city, offering a safe and reliable option for the public at all hours. According to the municipal announcement, this is a significant step towards upgrading urban transport services and enhancing Athens's appeal.

At the same time, authorities emphasize that the revamped service supports tourism, entertainment events, and economic activities, enhancing Athens's image as a European metropolis.

Night route frequencies can be found on the website.
