Iberia, ready for a busy winter. Spain’s biggest airline and the leading carrier between Europe and LatAm has introduced its timetable for the cold season. From October 26, 2025, to March 28, 2026, the company will offer fresh routes and ramped-up flights.
A season highlight is the launch of three new long-haul routes. Madrid–Orlando will begin October 26, featuring four weekly flights on a 292-seat A330 and marking Iberia’s ninth direct U.S. destination. In Brazil, Recife will officially launch on December 13, followed by Fortaleza on January 19, each with three weekly flights on the state-of-the-art Airbus A321XLR, which Iberia was the first to operate globally.
María Jesús López Solás, Chief Commercial, Network Development and Alliances Officer: “This winter, we continue to grow to connect Latin America and North America with Europe through our Madrid hub. Latin America is part of Iberia’s DNA, which is why we continue to invest in this market.”
Iberia is also increasing flights to high-demand destinations like the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, with Madrid–Santo Domingo now offering two daily flights, and Madrid–San Juan expanding to 14 weekly frequencies, marking a historic record.
Rio de Janeiro will also increase its weekly flights to seven during the Carnival (February 13 - February 21), with Santiago de Chile counting 12 flights and Lima reaching 14 flights a week.

European capitals have not been left behind, with Amsterdam gaining four daily flights, Rome increasing to 44 weekly services, and Paris adding two more weekly frequencies, reaching up to 11 daily flights on certain days.
For snow lovers, Iberia brings back flights to Innsbruck (Austria), Tromso (Norway), and Rovaniemi (Finland), along with added frequencies to Vienna and Geneva to support ski travel and Christmas markets. Seasonal routes to Croatia’s Dubrovnik and Zagreb, and Portugal’s Funchal extend into winter for travelers seeking warmer getaways.
With this winter schedule, the IAG group and Oneworld Airline Alliance member plans to give passengers more flexibility, meet “strong demand across the Atlantic”, and strengthen its leadership between Spain and North America.
