Photo: Shutterstock Yamam fighters, along with the IDF and Shin Bet, operated last night (Friday) in the Ramallah area within the Binyamin Brigade guided by Shin Bet intelligence to arrest members of an armed terror cell suspected of attempting to launch a rocket from the village of Naama last week.
During the raid, Yamam and Shin Bet forces closed in on the building where the suspects were hiding and fired at it. The three suspects then came out and were promptly arrested.
Inside the building, security forces uncovered dozens of rockets, large quantities of explosives, and materials used for manufacturing explosive devices. Evidence linked the cell to rocket production and attempted launches. A lathe for manufacturing rockets was also discovered.
At the end of the operation, the Israeli forces destroyed the rockets and explosives. The suspects were transferred to the General Security Service for further investigation.
