Returning to Nature, Almost Completely. After the reopening of most sites, the Nature and Parks Authority updates that the Ayoun Stream Reserve is still closed to visitors.

Almost all other sites in the north have been opened after intensive restoration work and the removal of debris and missile parts from the area.

As mentioned, most sites in the North are open. However, the night campgrounds at the following sites remain closed due to the winter season: Akziv, Horesha Tal, Yehiam, and Amud Stream.

The sites that have reopened are enjoying great success with impressive numbers of visitors. However, the sites lack shelters, and during missile fire and alarms, one must follow Home Front Command instructions in open spaces. This means lying on the ground and protecting the head with the hands. If lying down is not possible, one should crouch as much as possible and protect the head with the hands.
