Exciting News from Terminal 2 at Hong Kong Airport.
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has announced the introduction of a new Coach Hall as part of the first phase of its plans to extend Terminal 2.
The new hall offers 41 parking bays for tour buses, cross-border transport lines, limousines, flight crew buses, and resident buses. Passengers will also benefit from access to a dedicated ticketing area, a comfortable lounge, and a designated waiting area serving travelers who will continue their journey to airports in mainland China. Other highlights worth mentioning include access to more spacious and comfortable areas, a new array of foods and beverages, and more shopping options.
The initiative aims to consolidate services that were previously scattered throughout the terminal and car parks, bringing them together under a single roof via a convenient One-Stop Service.
The hall, which is a key element in HKIA's Intermodal Transport services, is expected to enhance connectivity between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
In the next phase, set to open during the first quarter of next year, the new departure hall and passenger facilities in Terminal 2 will further elevate the passenger experience.
