Boeing and Turkish Airlines announced yesterday (September 25, 2025) a deal for up to 75 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, marking the airline's largest wide-body aircraft purchase ever from Boeing.
The order includes 35 787-9s, along with 15 larger 787-10s, with options for an additional 25 787 Dreamliners to expand and renew the airline's fleet. This new order is expected to create more than 123,000 jobs across the United States.
The airline also announced its intention to purchase up to 150 narrow-body 737 MAX aircraft, which would be its largest order from Boeing to date.

Bolat further explained that, by adding the advanced Boeing aircraft to their fleet, they will both enhance their operational capabilities while working toward the "Turkish Airlines' Vision 2033" to grow their fleet to 800 aircraft.
Stephanie Pope, President and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes: "We are proud that Turkish Airlines has again chosen the 787 Dreamliner and 737 MAX to drive its future growth. As a proud partner to Turkey and the Turkish aviation industry for 80 years, we look forward to continuing our support for Turkish Airlines as they expand their operations."
For the past 80 years, Boeing has been supporting Turkey's operators and government with commercial jets and services, and defense platforms.
At the end of August, the aviation giant announced a massive €300 million investment proposal in the Spanish company Air Europa.
