International cruising company MSC Cruises has revealed one of its biggest upgrades in history. Namely, MSC Poesia will undergo a comprehensive transformation that includes new chef restaurants, a sports bar, a spa, and a revamped gym. Sales for the luxury suites have already started, in anticipation of the company's first cruising season to Alaska in the summer of 2026.
The exceptional strategic move will also see the MSC Yacht Club experience introduced aboard MSC Poesia for the first time.
What does the upgrade include?
- New chef restaurants: Butcher’s Cut and Kaito Sushi Bar.
- All-Stars Sports Bar: A new entertainment area in the luxury zone.
- MSC Aurea Spa and an upgraded gym with advanced facilities.
- 63 elegant suites of five different types, including unique family suites.
- The luxurious Royal Suite, with a private jacuzzi, a vast 78-square-meter balcony, and an outdoor shower with endless sea views.
- Private sun deck with Grill & Bar and two jacuzzis, alongside luxurious sunbathing cabanas.
- Top Sail Lounge: A private lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows, cocktails, and live music.
MSC emphasizes that Yacht Club guests will enjoy 24/7 personalized concierge service, meticulously designed suites, access to a private restaurant, a sun deck, and an exclusive enclosed recreation area.

Summer 2026 - Alaska: Seven-night cruises departing from Seattle, with stops in Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Tracy Arm, Juneau, and Victoria.
