Good news for flydubai business class passengers. The airline from the United Arab Emirates has opened its new business lounge for flights departing from Terminal 2
at Dubai Airport (DXB). It should be noted that the company’s flights to Ben Gurion Airport (8 flights per day as of today) mostly depart from Terminal 3 in Dubai, and some from Terminal 1 - but not from Terminal 2.
The official opening of the lounge was attended by senior officials from the Emirati government, airline executives, and airport representatives.
Photo: FLYDUBAIThe 900 square meter lounge can accommodate over 200 passengers simultaneously. It is located after passport control and the security check area. The lounge is designed with modern furniture and natural light, inspired by desert dunes. The glass facade faces the runways.
Inside the lounge, there are various seating, dining, and resting areas. Food is served at a buffet and in a restaurant according to a menu. The lounge features showers, a prayer room, free Wi-Fi, workstations, and several charging stations.
Photo: FLYDUBAIThe refreshing innovation is that the boarding gate for business class passengers is located within the lounge, from where they can board dedicated buses to their flights.
