SWISS Airlines expands connections.
Starting today, October 16, 2025, travelers can book tickets to new rail destinations via the SWISS Airlines website.
The expanded collaboration with the Swiss National Rail Company SBB now allows the purchase of train tickets to St. Gallen and Locarno in Switzerland, and to Konstanz across the German border.
All routes are to and from Zurich Airport, and the new additions bring the SWISS Air Rail network, which combines flights with train travel, to a record 24 destinations, including Basel, Geneva, and Lugano in Switzerland, as well as Munich in Germany and Bregenz in Austria.

Heike Birlenbach, Chief Commercial Officer of SWISS: "With the new SWISS Air Rail destinations, we are creating more bridges between flights and major business, industrial, and cultural areas around Swiss airports. St. Gallen as a center for business, industry, and higher education, Locarno with its international film festival as a leading tourist destination, and Konstanz as a gateway to the Lake Constance area - all these destinations are excellent additions to the SWISS route network. By expanding SWISS Air Rail to these areas, we emphasize even easier, more eco-friendly, and customer-friendly mobility."
