Wizz Air updates on the progress of its "Customer First Compass" initiative, in which it is investing 14 billion euros. During the first six months of the initiative, the Hungarian low-cost airline reports a 10% increase in customer satisfaction.

Despite the significant drop in its stock price, the company defines the summer of 2025 as the most successful in its history, with an almost 22% improvement in timeliness performance (flight timings accuracy) and 99.5% of flights arriving on time at their destinations, despite a 7% increase in operational volume compared to 2024. At the peak of the summer season, the company reached over a thousand flights a day.

At Wizz Air, which released the data for the first time at a press conference held in London, alongside announcements about the WIZZ CLASS department and the WIZZ PLAY internet system, say that "the progress is the result of ongoing investments across all areas of the company's operations, integrating new technologies and artificial intelligence in control centers, in the cockpit, and in customer service, aiming to maximize efficiency and make quick decisions".

Passenger Numbers, Routes, and Aircraft

In November, Wizz Air is expected to reach a milestone of 250 aircraft. Along with its expansion, the company continues to invest in reducing emissions. The company is among the airlines with the lowest emission rates in Europe.

More than 70% of the company's aircraft fleet consists of the new Airbus A321neo models, which provide about 20% savings in fuel consumption compared to older models, reduce noise and emissions levels, and contribute to the progress in the Net Zero Roadmap program - under which the company aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

In the past six months, Wizz Air has opened new bases in Bucharest, Bratislava, Warsaw, Yerevan, and Podgorica, and launched 250 new routes. Additionally, the company is investing in improving communication with passengers through its help center led by the My Journey system, which allows passengers to stay updated at every stage of their journey and receive real-time updates.

"All You Can Fly" Returns

Wizz Air also announced a new opportunity to purchase an “All You Can Fly” annual subscription for €499 per year. In the third sales wave, 10,000 subscriptions will be offered for sale in 34 countries, allowing members to fly an almost unlimited number of flights across the company's network, with a fixed booking fee of just €9.99 per flight.

The third phase was launched following high demand. Since the launch last year, there has been a 42% increase in the number of passengers flying with Wizz Air as part of the subscription, with an average of nine flights per passenger per year.
