On October 7, Gili Adar, the daughter of Orna and Eldad, was murdered at the Nova party in Reim. Gili was a lively young woman, with dreams and aspirations who touched the heart of everyone she met. Dizenhaus Group, along with the Adar family, chose to commemorate Gili's memory by granting three annual scholarships to students in the Tourism and Leisure Management Department at the Management Faculty of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. The scholarships are intended for students who demonstrate academic excellence and social involvement, following Gili's path during her short life. The ceremony was accompanied by a musical ensemble from the "Wings Through Art" association with songs that Gili loved.

I am sure that the students who received the scholarship will know how to uphold the values that Gili exemplified."
Hani Sobol, CEO of Dizenhaus Group added: "Tourism is not just a profession for the Adar family – it is a way of life. The family passed on to Gili the passion to meet cultures and people and the understanding that tourism is much more than moving people from place to place; it is a deep human encounter."
Prof. Yotam Lurie, Dean of the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Management: "Commemorating Gili is our partnership in the pain of the family and the nation. Out of this immense pain, and together with Dizenhaus, we are creating an opportunity to remember and commemorate Gili and continue the path she did not get to walk."
Orna Adar, Gili's mother said at the scholarship award ceremony: "Choosing Ben-Gurion University had a double meaning for us. After Gili's military service and after she returned from her big trip, she decided to study and pursue her academic education at Ben-Gurion University. The second was after October 7, when Dizenhaus, which had been like home to me for many years, told me they wanted to award a scholarship to the Tourism and Leisure Management Department at Ben-Gurion University in the name of Gili, my daughter. Thank you for the touching moment today. These days nothing is taken for granted."
