New Traffic Record: 2.66M Passengers Passed Through BER in October

Berlin Brandenburg Airport handled 2.66 million passengers and nearly 19,000 flights in October 2025, surpassing last year’s traffic figures

Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) hit a new record in October with 2.66 million passengers. According to preliminary traffic data released by management, the number marks an increase of about 100,000 passengers compared to October last year.

During the fall break, between October 17 and November 2, 2025, approximately 1.44 million passengers passed through BER. Friday, October 17, was the busiest day since the airport opened, with 102,059 passengers checking in.

In October, 18,554 aircraft took off and landed at the airport, compared to 18,511 flights in October 2024. Cargo traffic also increased, with 4,786 tons of goods handled, signaling a rise of approximately 1,000 tons compared to the previous year.
