No Direct Flights From Israel to Canada? But There Yes: Canadian Airline Launches Direct Route From Berlin to Toronto

While here in Israel, there are no direct flights at all to Canada, in Germany's capital they are launching another direct route to the land of maple.
The Canadian airline Air Transat announced that it would operate a new direct route from Berlin (BER) to Toronto (YYZ) starting June 20, 2025, until the end of the summer 2025 flight schedule.
The flights will take place twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, and offer passengers convenient connections to additional destinations in Canada, including Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary, through cooperation with Porter Airlines.
New Aircraft and Maximum Comfort
The new route will be operated using Airbus A321LR aircraft, known for being particularly innovative and efficient, with a configuration that includes 199 seats:
12 seats in Club Class (premium economy), offering a comfortable and luxurious flight experience.
187 seats in economy class, providing comfort and an option for affordable flights.
Flight time from Berlin to Toronto will be 8 hours and 50 minutes, while the flight in the opposite direction will be shorter by one hour.
