Emirates Reports Record Performance: Over $3 Billion Profit in Six Months

The world's renowned and luxurious airline continues to demonstrate massive success metrics.

Emirates reports unprecedented half-year profits: 11.4 billion dirhams ($3.1 billion), a 17% increase, with revenues totaling 65.6 billion dirhams ($17.9 billion), a 6% rise, compared to the same period last year. The figures reflect a strong, persistent demand for global flights and customers' preference for the airline's luxury passenger experience.

Airline Data: The company achieved a pre-tax profit of 843 million dirhams ($230 million), a 17% increase over the previous year, with record half-year revenue of 11.7 billion dirhams ($3.2 billion), a 13% increase, as operations expanded to meet customer demand.

Emirates Group Data: The group's net profit after tax is 10.6 billion dirhams ($2.9 billion), a 13% increase over last year. The group's revenues totaled 75.4 billion dirhams ($20.6 billion) in the first six months of 2025-26, a 4% increase compared to 70.8 billion dirhams ($19.3 billion) the previous year.

The group concluded the first half of 2025-26 with a record cash balance of 56 billion dirhams ($15.2 billion) compared to 53.4 billion dirhams ($14.6 billion). The group leveraged its strong cash reserves to support business needs, including funding new aircraft deliveries.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates: "The group once more delivered outstanding performance, surpassing our half-year results from last year and achieving a new record profit for the first half of 2025-26. I am pleased to note that Emirates maintains its position as the most profitable airline in the world for this half-year reporting period. These results were largely driven by demand and customers' increased preference for our products and services, which fueled revenue and profitability growth - enabling us to continue investing and expanding our proven business models, in alignment with Dubai's growth as a global city preferred for talent, businesses, and tourists."
