The highlight of the entertainment program is a performance by the legendary and beloved band Kool & the Gang (Kool & the Gang) which will perform on an ultra-luxurious cruise of no less than 150 nights aboard the ship Seven Seas Mariner.
The cruise will depart from Miami, Florida to San Francisco, California, and from there to a variety of destinations across South America, the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Asia, and Alaska. "Guests will cross three oceans, visit 97 ports in 25 countries on 5 continents, and travel an extraordinary 36,295 nautical miles over five months," the company stated.
It was also stated that "This exclusive celebration will mark the beginning of a record-breaking cruise: The longest world cruise ever in the history of Regent, featuring 150 unforgettable nights aboard the Seven Seas Mariner." It was further noted that the mentioned performance will take place on January 7, 2025, on the ship's deck on the day it departs from the port in Miami, Florida. "Guests will indulge in a dazzling evening of music and dancing with timeless hits like 'Ladies Night' and 'Get Down on It,' marking the start of this epic journey," it was stated.
