After the Maldives: Luxury Hotel Chain Atlantis Announces New Location

Atlantis Resorts announces "next chapter" in its expansion: a giant hotel in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, aimed at changing the tourism landscape and lifestyle of the Kingdom

No rest for this luxury resort chain. Just two days after announcing the establishment of South Malé Atoll, a new luxury resort in the Maldives, the Atlantis Resorts chain reveals the next location for a new hotel.

In a statement published this morning, November 14, 2025, the chain expressed their pride for unveiling the next chapter in the expansion of Atlantis, Atlantis Jeddah

The historic project, they further explained, will be developed in collaboration with Midad Real Estate and included in their the vision of 'Jeddah Central', directly supporting Saudi Arabia's 'Vision 2030' to change the Kingdom's tourism landscape and lifestyle.

Atlantis Jeddah, located on the historic Red Sea coastline, will feature 800 guest rooms and suites, luxury residences and more than 20 world-class culinary concepts, including signature restaurants by celebrity chefs.

Guests will also enjoy a water park of a scale that is promised to be "record-breaking", "The Lost Chambers" aquarium, marine experiences, a luxury shopping complex and a holistic spa and wellness complex. Further details, including a planned opening date, have not yet been announced.

As we reported this week, Atlantis plans to open South Malé Atoll in the Maldives in 2029. The complex will combine 493 units, rooms, suites, villas and mansions, alongside more than 17 culinary options, beach clubs and a selection of premium shops.
