When autumn arrives in New York, the entire city takes on shades of gold, red, and orange, turning into a vibrant place with a romantic and picturesque setting. The familiar streets are filled with white smoke from the subway, the first scarves are pulled out of the drawers, and the city offers a perfect combination of nature, culture, and an unparalleled atmosphere. The ice skating rinks at Rockefeller Center and Bryant Park, with food stands that are especially tempting, will make you want to dig in. Just make sure not to miss the strawberries covered in hot chocolate in Brein Park!

Central Park: 50 Shades of Gold

Fall in New York is best felt in Central Park, as this is, to many people's opinion, the most beautiful place in the city to admire the colors of the season. The walking paths are covered with leaves of various colors, boats float on the lake, and musicians play tunes in the cool air.

The bike paths and running tracks are busy from early morning until late in the day. If you don't feel like running, sit in a cozy corner and watch the squirrels, enjoying a coffee or hot chocolate while basking in the cool, pleasant air.

Culture and Art, an Excellent Experience

As the temperatures drop, New York culture only heats up with the famous Broadway theaters where you can book tickets for Mamma Mia and enjoy the crazy energy of all ABBA songs. It's definitely a nostalgic show that warms the heart.

Of course, you can't do without a little culture. Galleries burst with new and contemporary exhibitions alongside classic ones. A must-visit is the MoMA, which is currently hosting a new and special exhibition on the iconic items that changed our lives, or in other words, what our lives would have been like without all of these. The exhibition features the first Macintosh, the first mobile phone, and even the plastic chair from "Keter".

At the end of the exhibition, you must visit the museum store, which looks like a museum in itself, and enjoy a variety of colorful and special design details. Make sure you buy some gifts there, as there's nothing like walking around with a MoMA bag.

Shopping Season

Fall in New York is also shopping season. Macy's impressive design attracts millions of viewers, and in the run-up to Black Friday, the streets are filled with glittering storefronts and outrageous discounts.

In addition, the open-air fall and food markets, such as the one in Union Square, allow you to taste cheeses, pastries, and local farmers' produce reminiscent of the colorful markets in Europe. Just be sure to check their schedule first, as they are not open every day of the week.

It Feels Like You're in the Clouds

The city's rooftops are gaining height, and there is hardly a self-respecting hotel or tower that has not upgraded the experience of spending time in the clouds. The Ritz Hotel bar, located on the 50th floor on Sixth Avenue, is particularly impressive, offering a breathtaking view of Manhattan, from the Empire State Building to the Hudson River. The food and bar are of an international standard, and the feeling is that of an updated, uniquely designed luxury restaurant, because the one leading the way is the well-known Michelin-starred chef Jose Andres.

Last month, the W Hotel opened after an investment of tens of millions (according to SOME publications, about $100 million). It boasts a grandiose design in bright colors, exuding luxury and prestige from every angle, and sparkles, taking great photos for the digital age. Towards the end of the year, the hotel's legendary rooftop is expected to open.
