This is how we (almost) start a new year. The luxury hotel Shangri-La Phnom Penh, a new landmark near the seaside of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, will open tomorrow (28.12) to the general public. It's the first hotel of the chain in Cambodia.
The new hotel, of course rated five stars, is intended to be a new tourist and business center in Phnom Penh, enhancing the city's overall appeal, especially Phnom Penh's lively Kouch neighborhood.

The interior design combines Asian heritage with Art Deco, emphasizing warm wood colors, natural stones, and natural daylight.

The hotel also includes an authentic Chinese restaurant where you can enjoy unique Peking duck, as well as a rooftop bar - Altitude, offering stunning sunset views, cocktails, and light snacks. The bar will open over the coming year.
