Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks has unveiled a unique, highly luxurious display version of the Unimog, the most powerful and luxurious model ever produced.
The project was developed in collaboration with Hellgeth Engineering, and marks a milestone in the run-up to the Unimog's 80th anniversary celebrations, which will take place next year.
The new model is designed to combine the legendary off-road capabilities of the Unimog, designed for particularly difficult civilian and military missions, with a level of comfort, design, and engineering never before seen in the category. This is a one-off demonstration vehicle that will be tested in the field under real-world conditions over the coming year, with the aim of gathering insights for potential future developments.
The luxurious Unimog is based on the Unimog U 4023 model, and features portal axles, a flexible chassis, selectable all-wheel drive, and differential locks on both axles, ensuring grip and control even in challenging off-road conditions.

The double cab offers space for up to four passengers and includes a MirrorCam system, in which cameras and screens replace the exterior mirrors, to improve safety and the field of vision.
The exterior design draws inspiration from the crossover (SUV) segment and features matte gray paint, beadlock aluminum wheels, and a distinctive lighting concept with modern LED headlights. The passenger compartment is equipped with high-quality leather upholstery, ergonomic seats with colorful stitching, leather floor mats, and LED interior lighting, emphasizing the luxurious character of the vehicle.
