The airline Ryanair published yesterday (January 3) its traffic data for December 2024.

The data shows that the company recorded an additional growth of 8% in passenger traffic compared to the same period last year, with 13.6 million passengers.

And if the high number of passengers wasn't enough, Ryanair also shows an occupancy rate of 94% on its flights, with the company flying 197.2 million passengers last year compared to 181.8 million passengers the year before.

The impressive growth reflects the continued expansion and popularity of the low-cost airline among passengers in Europe and beyond, "as it continues to offer an extensive network of routes and particularly competitive prices, with continuous improvement in service quality and flight punctuality," company representatives note.

Ryanair emphasizes its commitment to expanding operations even in 2025, with plans to add new destinations and upgrade its aircraft fleet.

The company updates that it aims to continue leading the low-cost airline industry, adapting to changing passenger needs and market demands.
