The Flying Blue loyalty club of the Air France-KLM group is launching a new service called Flying Blue Experiences, which allows members to redeem points earned not only for flights but also for entry to selected events in France.
The first phase of the project will offer access to private seats in two of the leading venues in Paris, Accor Arena and Stade de France. At each venue, club members will have access to a VIP stand with 16 seats for concerts and various sporting events, including the opening match of the Six Nations tournament between the French and Irish national teams.
Additionally, Silver members and above will receive early access to events at the Accor Arena. Additional experiences are expected to be added in the future, according to the company. Bookings are made through the Flying Blue Store website.
"With Flying Blue Experiences, we are delighted to offer our members a new way to get even more value from their Miles, beyond travel, by granting them access to unique and unforgettable events. These opportunities are truly exceptional, starting with some of the most sought-after events and venues in France. Whether it's attending a concert or experiencing the excitement of a major sporting event, Flying Blue Experiences aims to reward our members with extraordinary moments," said Benjamin Lipsey, SVP Loyalty, Digital & Data at Air France-KLM, and President of Flying Blue.
Earlier this week, Air France and SNCF announced the expansion of the "Train + Air" service, which lets you combine a flight and a train in a single booking. The service now also includes the discounted OUIGO trains, with connections to 27 stations across France and a convenient transfer to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
