One of the world's most beloved adventure parks in the world, Disneyland Paris, is being revamped with a new world inspired by the Disney film series "Breaking the Ice," one of the most successful films ever produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios.
The park will recreate scenes from the film, and, during the visit, guests can participate in the Snow Flower Festival, held in an accurate, life-size recreation of the Kingdom of Arendelle, specially decorated for the event.
The park will combine several huge and unique attractions, including the majestic North Mountain, which is 36 meters high and features Elsa's Ice Palace, Arendelle Castle decorated with ice decorations, the "Forever and Ever" attraction that will take guests of all ages on an adventure-filled cruise alongside Anna, Elsa and their friends, a journey from the snowy forest to Troll Valley, and many other attractions combining robotic characters with advanced sound and AI technologies.
Alongside the new complex, park guests will be able to stroll along "Adventure Way," a majestic new main boulevard featuring entertainment, an all-new attraction inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Fluffy," new dining venues, and the debut of a vast lake called "Adventure Bay" with a breathtaking nighttime show.
The avenue will connect the Ice World to the other worlds in the park, including the colorful Pixar Worlds and Marvel's Avengers Campus World, where guests can take photos with Spider-Man and enjoy interactive experiences with superheroes like Thor and the Black Panther.
Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland: “March 29, 2026 will mark a historic milestone for Disneyland Paris with the transformation of our second park into Disney Adventure World, and the opening of its spectacular new expansion, featuring World of Frozen. With this step, we’re pursuing the most ambitious transformation in our resort’s history, pushing the boundaries of storytelling and inviting guests to live their own adventures in the extraordinary worlds of Disney Animation, Pixar, and Marvel.”

Alongside "Breaking the Ice," a series of additional experiential worlds will be introduced, each based on major Disney content worlds, offering a different experience in nature, from classic animation to contemporary cinematic action. "The World of Pixar" will take visitors on a journey through the colorful worlds of Pixar Animation Studios, with areas inspired by beloved films such as Toy Story, Ratatouille, Cars, and Finding Nemo.
The complex includes seven main attractions, including high-traffic rides and experiences for the whole family, alongside specialty restaurants and concept stores. The experience focuses on a rich visual story and a dynamic pace, specifically tailored for a wide family audience.
"Marvel World" centers on the Marvel Universe, inviting visitors to join the next generation of Avengers. The complex features cutting-edge attractions alongside live action shows and interactions with familiar characters from the cinematic universe. The emphasis is on a theatrical experience and active participation, combining technology, stunts, and direct encounters with superheroes.
Further down the road, a new world inspired by the classic animated film "The Lion King," one of the most beloved and successful in Disney history, is expected to open in the park, and is of particular importance to the European audience. The complex is already in advanced stages of construction and will feature a never-before-seen central attraction that incorporates beloved characters into a watercourse. The experience will lead visitors to "Pride Land", following the story of Simba, accompanied by music - and all this on a 37-meter-high cliff.
