While dealing with supply issues causing cancellations of routes and losses, airBaltic unveils its 50th Airbus A220 plane with a special painting. The plane, unveiled in Canada before its arrival in Europe, features the Latvian flag alongside clothing elements representing all three Baltic states - Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania.

In this case, 840 design proposals were presented to the company's loyalty program members and, after filtering, the winning proposal was selected.

They also say that "the design incorporates additional elements inspired by the rich heritage and nature of the Baltic region - Ladybug, Swallow, and Stork." The final sketch was redesigned by airBaltic to meet the technical requirements of the plane. The illustration was completed over 18 days using 21 colors in stencil techniques.
