Aircraft movements increased by 8% to over 327,000, with average flight occupancy reaching a peak of 82%.
Flights to European and Mediterranean destinations saw a 12% increase in traffic compared to 2023, while long-haul flights recorded a 17% growth.
Munich Airport is now connected to 224 destinations in 66 countries, serviced by 96 airlines, including 5 cargo carriers. Air transportation volume increased by 11% in 2024 to 308,000 tons, making the airport a significant logistics hub.
