At the end of 2025, AnimaWings extended its network with new direct flights to Athens and Sardinia and announced a full-service business class starting in May 2026 on the Bucharest-Milan route. Now, the Romanian airline has a fresh announcement: an upgrade of its operations on the Tel Aviv-Bucharest route. Starting with the upcoming summer season, the route will be operated with the Airbus A220-300, one of the most advanced and innovative aircraft in the company's fleet.
The A220 300 aircraft offers a quieter and more comfortable flight, wider seats with increased personal space, extra-large overhead storage compartments, and advanced, fuel-efficient technology. The move is designed to enhance the passenger experience on the company's new route between Israel and Romania.
In addition, starting March 30, the company will implement a new flight schedule on the route, which is expected to provide greater flexibility in planning travel between the two cities.
AnimaWings operates a service model that includes baggage, seat selection, and check-in at no additional cost, a move that distinguishes it from the classic low-cost model.
The company, which became a fully-fledged Romanian airline in 2023 and belongs to the Memento tourism group, currently operates three weekly flights on the Tel Aviv-Bucharest route on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Elsewhere, the airline operates scheduled and charter flights, primarily connecting major Romanian cities, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Timișoara, Oradea, Craiova, and Suceava, to European destinations like Paris, London (Gatwick), Munich, Prague, Stockholm, and various Greek islands (Rhodes, Corfu, Crete). They also offer flights to Dubai and Istanbul.
