In addition, Ryanair unveiled the new route to the tourist city of Trapani in western Sicily, Italy. The low-fare airline also announced increased frequencies on three other routes. The list includes popular holiday destinations like Alicante and Malaga, as well as an important city-break option for many travelers, Edinburgh.

The fresh schedule "is underpinned by Ryanair’s 2 Bournemouth-based aircraft, which represent a local investment of $200M", according to the company's statement.
