Etihad has announced that, starting today, March 6, 2026, it will resume a limited commercial flight schedule between Abu Dhabi and several major destinations worldwide. This is despite the complex security situation in the region and the strikes from Iran towards the country.
Passengers with existing reservations will be rebooked on these flights as soon as possible, and new tickets can now be purchased on the company's website. The remaining unannounced flights are still suspended. Emirates also issued a similar statement yesterday.
The company emphasizes that passengers should not arrive at the airport without a confirmed reservation or direct contact from Etihad. The decision to resume flights was made in coordination with the relevant authorities and after comprehensive security and safety assessments.

Additionally, passengers whose flights are scheduled until March 10 can request a refund through the company's website or through the travel agent from whom the ticket was booked. Passengers who booked through an agent are asked to contact them directly.
The company notes that due to a high volume of inquiries, there may be a long wait time at the service centers, and therefore, it is recommended to submit refund requests using the online form on the website.
