EasyJet Plans to Return flights to Tel Aviv

The low-cost airline that halted its flights to Israel at the start of the war announces it is expected to resume its routes to Tel Aviv on June 1

The skies continue to open for israeli travellers  as the wave of airlines returning to country expands.

After Wizz Air expanded its range of destinations from Israel this week and Lufthansa Group announced the resumption of flights to various destinations, the British low-cost airline easyJet announced this morning (January 17) its intention to resume flights to Israel starting June 1, 2025.

The airline that halted its flights to the country at the start of the war plans to operate 38 weekly flights to and from Tel Aviv: 8 flights a week between Tel Aviv and London (Luton), 6 flights a week to Geneva, Amsterdam, and Milan, and 4 flights a week to Berlin, Basel, and Nice.

Ali Gayward, easyJet's UK and Israel manager, stated, "We are very excited to plan the return of flights between Tel Aviv and seven destinations across our network starting in June. As the first low-cost carrier to operate flights to Israel, we have a long history with the Israeli market and remain committed to our customers. We are pleased to provide our customers with convenient access to several European countries while offering excellent value and service."

Customers who purchased tickets for April and May have been notified of their options, including a refund or transfer to an alternative flight.
