Marella Cruises Marks 30 Years in the UK with Pixie Lott, Lemar and Nostalgic Cruise

Marella Cruises, TUI’s UK cruise line, is set to celebrate its 30th birthday in style this May, announcing more headline acts for its special sailings. British singer-songwriters Pixie Lott and Lemar will be joining the festivities, alongside other live performances from Fleur East, Boyzlife, La Voix, and Michaela Strachan.

Guests will also enjoy live Q&A sessions with TV and sports personalities including Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards and Anthea Turner.

Pixie Lott, the three-time UK No.1 artist, will perform classics like “All About Tonight,” “Cry Me Out,” and “Boys and Girls” on board Marella Discovery. Double Brit Award winner Lemar will take the stage on Marella Explorer 2, performing his top hits from a career spanning seven top 10 singles. Michaela Strachan will share stories from her 40-year broadcasting career, with live Q&A sessions on both Marella Voyager and Marella Explorer sailings.

Marella Cruises’ celebrations will stretch across the fleet. Marella Discovery 2 sailing from Palma will feature Fleur East alongside a live Q&A with Olympic icon Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards. Marella Explorer will host BoyzLife, performing hits from Boyzone and Westlife, plus another Q&A with Edwards. Marella Voyager guests can enjoy performances from Strictly Come Dancing and Drag Race star La Voix, while in Limassol, Marella Discovery will host a live Q&A with broadcaster Anthea Turner.

The seven-night celebrations promise plenty of fun, including a unique Birthday Gala, “Party Like it’s 1996” events, quayside celebrations, 90s trivia, and TV box sets from the era. Additional headline acts for Marella Explorer 2 and Marella Discovery will be announced in the coming months.
