With flights to 315 destinations in 126 countries worldwide, the Turkish airline continues to expand the global boundaries of aviation.
Celebrations in Chile: A Global Milestone
The historic event was celebrated at a special ceremony held at Santiago’s Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Chile, right after the Turkish airline's inaugural flight to the country.
During the ceremony, the Guinness World Record certificate was presented to Turkish Airlines CEO, Bilal Ekşi, marking the occasion as one of the significant moments in Turkish Airlines' history.
Expanding Destination Network
Turkish Airlines is known for its widespread network, covering major cities in Europe, Asia, America, Africa, and the Middle East.
Now, with Chile added to the list of destinations, the company strengthens its presence in South America and offers its passengers more flight options, while continuing to invest in a modern aircraft fleet and advanced technologies to remain at the forefront of the aviation industry.
The recognition from Guinness reflects Turkish Airlines' global vision and its commitment to connecting different cultures and communities. With each new destination, the airline blurs borders and connects countries, cities, and people, according to the Turkish company.
Apart from popular destinations like New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Dubai, Turkish Airlines also flies to unique destinations like Accra in Ghana, Manila in the Philippines, and Lima in Peru.
