If you’re heading to Paris and you’ll pass by the Eiffel Tower this spring, you will come across something a little different waiting for you on the first floor: the Vertigo of the Eiffel Tower

After drawing lots of attention last year, the adrenaline-pumping experience is back. The highlight is a suspended net bridge stretching about 40 meters between the tower’s east and west pillars. Positioned nearly 60 meters above the ground, it offers a rare chance to walk across an open-air structure with nothing but netting beneath your feet and sweeping views of the city all around. Designed by Arboricorde, the bridge is considered the tallest urban suspension bridge of its kind in France.

It might sound intimidating, but the setup is designed with safety in mind. The structure is supported by cables and layered with thousands of mesh panels, allowing visitors to cross while still feeling secure. Staff are present throughout the experience, and access is managed in timed slots to keep things running smoothly.

The activity runs from March 17 to May 3 and is open to anyone with a valid Eiffel Tower ticket. There’s no extra cost, but visitors do need to register on-site using QR codes placed near the attraction. Children as young as three can take part, though those under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

The bridge is found on the first floor, accessible by stairs on the way up, and by elevator or stairs when going down. If you have not already purchased tickets to visit the Tower, you can check the official online ticket office to book for more simplicity. "If the offer you are looking for is no longer available (the summit destination is often fully booked well in advance during school holidays), you can also buy tickets at the ticket office on the day of your visit for immediate ascent.", sayd the official website.

Once you reach the tower, you will need to register on-site on the first floor at the Ferrié Pavilion and its bistro, scan the QR code, and select an available time slot within the following 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. If you are traveling with friends or family, make sure to register all participants in your group, then go to the attraction entrance with your ticket received via email at your chosen slot time.

Right next to the bridge lies the new spring terrace, offering a calmer way to enjoy the same stunning setting. Filled with flowers and greenery, it’s designed as a place to pause after the crossing, grab a drink, and take in the view at a slower pace. One of the seasonal highlights is a cocktail inspired by cherry blossom and strawberry, adding a light, seasonal touch to the experience.

The official Eiffel Tower website provides safety instructions for anyone interested in the experience:

- closely follow the instructions provided on-site by Arbotopia teams

  • - secure bags and pockets

  • - enter the bridge individually (limited to 4 people simultaneously), and cross it without turning back, while maintaining 2 arches of distance between them and the person in front.

  • - running or jumping are strictly forbidden

  • - children must be accompanied by adults and held by the hand

  • - do not come carrying suitcases, strollers, food, or drinks, or wearing high heels
