Passenger limit expanded for flights.

A new relaxation of flight restrictions: Starting Saturday night, the total number of passengers allowed on flights will increase to 80, including special humanitarian cases.

This change follows ongoing restrictions in the aviation sector due to the security situation, after a period during which outbound flights from Israel were limited to about 70 passengers per flight, including humanitarian cases.

According to the revised policy, the new cap will also include passengers categorized as humanitarian cases, with a designated quota within the total seats available on each flight.

Industry professionals see this as a further step towards resuming broader air activity, but stress that the policy remains limited and is subject to ongoing security assessments in the coming days.

The Ministry of Transport is expected to continue monitoring the situation, and any additional changes to flight operations will be based on developments on the ground and safety considerations.
