-13 Degrees with a Wind Chill: Back to Below-Freezing Temperatures: Toronto Airport

Toronto Pearson International Airport continues smooth operations in freezing weather, managing hundreds of arrivals and departures and strong demand on key North American routes

Canada's largest and busiest airport, Toronto Pearson Airport, reports they are "back to below-freezing temperatures, with the airfield currently feeling like -13°C with the wind chill."

Despite the cold weather, the airport says it is planning to welcome close to 122,000 passengers through its terminals, with about two-thirds using Terminal 1.

In terms of flights, the airport has scheduled a total of 464 arrivals and 455 departures, with 328 of the respective flights arriving from or departing to domestic airports.

Toronto Pearson also revealed its top destinations for the day:

-New York (LGA) with 45 flights

-Calgary (YYC) with 44 flights

-Vancouver (YVR) with 40 flights
