SriLankan Airlines Expands Saudi Arabia Connectivity

SriLankan Airlines has partnered with flynas to boost travel between Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia, offering smoother connections across domestic and global routes. SriLankan: "Strengthening ties through shared skies and enhanced connections"

SriLankan Airlines (UL) has partnered with Saudi Arabia's "leading low-cost airline committed to safe and affordable travel", flynas (XY), as a means of boosting connectivity between Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia.

Sri Lanka's national carrier and award-winning airline "with a solid reputation for service, comfort, safety, reliability, and punctuality" made the announcement on its social media pages:  

"Passengers across all three provinces of the Kingdom can now experience seamless travel, greater convenience, and access to an extended network of both international and domestic destinations. This milestone brings our nations closer than ever, strengthening ties through shared skies and enhanced connections."

Flynas, "the best LCC in the Middle East", today (April 21, 2026) launched its inaugural direct flight connecting Riyadh and Al Qaisumah, aligned with its expansion plans as well as the National Civil Aviation Strategy's objectives.
