Jet2 has announced it will bring forward the start of its Summer 2027 season to Nice from Manchester Airport, aligning with the internationally renowned MIPIM - the Global Urban Festival, a property and real estate trade show held every year in March at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
The UK airline and tour operator has decided to respond to the high demand from the business community attending the five-day event between March 15 to 19, 2027.
Two Extra Weekly Flights Added for the Key Event
To support increased travel demand, Jet2 has announced it will operate two additional weekly services on Mondays and Fridays between Manchester and Nice from March 15 to 22, 2027.
The move will provide greater flexibility for delegates and investors traveling to MIPIM, while also opening up additional options for leisure travelers seeking an early-season getaway to the French Riviera.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays: “We are very pleased to be supporting the region by providing additional flights to Nice for this major conference and bringing forward the start date to this popular destination. Thanks to this extra flying, delegates can travel directly from Manchester Airport on our award-winning airline, and we are confident the new flights will be a huge success.”
He added that the move not only supports business travel but also gives holidaymakers the opportunity to experience Nice and the French Riviera earlier in the season.
