American Express Israel, part of the Isracard Group, launched this morning (Wednesday, May 6, 2026) in Tel Aviv a new, upgraded value proposition for American Express Platinum cardholders in Israel.
Menny Cohen, CEO of American Express Israel, said at the press conference: "I'm excited and there are two reasons why I'm excited today. One, the hard work of several months by my dream team on upgrading the value proposition of our Platinum card. The second reason is that every year, once a year, we hold an event in their presence."
Cohen added, "In our industry, we wake up every morning to a very intense arena with numerous competitors, offers and promotions, vouchers and gifts, and more. It is very easy to duplicate products, but true differentiation is what creates true loyalty, and this is what drives our work at American Express."
Leor Raviv, Deputy CEO of Isracard, added that "Between Iran 2 and Iran 3, which we hope won't happen, we are holding this event. We have worked quite a bit over the past year on the value proposition of the Platinum card. To adapt it to Israeli tastes and we are very pleased with the result. This card is suitable for a market segment of business people who travel abroad a lot. We estimate that there will be a very high number of participants."
