New Record: 92.3 million travelers passed through Dubai Airport in 2024.

The year 2024 was also a record year for Dubai International Airport (DXB), which set a new passenger traffic record with 92.3 million travelers – the highest number ever.

This figure significantly surpassed the optimistic forecasts of the airport itself, establishing Dubai's DXB as one of the busiest airports in the world.

The record highlights Dubai's international appeal as a center for tourism, business, and global connectivity.

Over the past decade, more than 700 million travelers have passed through DXB – an astounding number equal to more than twice the population of the United States, thanks to significant investments in technology, improved work processes, and the commitment of staff to high levels of service and efficient management, as noted by Dubai Airport.

"This is an achievement of the entire DXB community, and we appreciate the commitment and dedication of all our employees," said the airport management.

"We will continue to welcome passengers in growing numbers, constantly striving to provide the highest level of customer experience," stated sources at the outstanding airport.

DXB's success in 2024 not only signifies the full recovery of the aviation sector following the challenges of recent years but also Dubai's strengthening as a leading international transportation hub.
