The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart is joining the celebrations for International Museum Day, set for May 17, 2026. On this day, visitors can enjoy free entry to the permanent exhibition, which spans 140 years of automobile innovation and technological advancement.
In addition to free admission, guests will have access to advanced driving simulators provided by Roarington, located on Floor 0. These simulators offer a hands-on experience with iconic Mercedes models on legendary race tracks, including digital versions of the 300 SLR, the 300 SL "Gullwing," and the 190 E Evo II.

This day will feature a vehicle display, interactive activities for all ages, and additional experiential content. One day earlier, on May 16, an exclusive pre-event for invited guests will be held, including lectures, a VR experience, music, and culinary content.
The museum notes that due to a city race in Stuttgart, vehicle access will be restricted from 10:00 AM on May 17 via a dedicated entrance. The museum itself will open as usual at 9:00 AM.

The museum emphasizes that International Museum Day is a chance to make the history and innovation of the automotive world accessible to a broad audience, as part of celebrations marking 140 years of the Mercedes-Benz brand's innovation.
