The event fell under the law that established the Day of Solidarity and Friendship between Romania and Israel, featuring speeches focused on strengthening political, economic, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Silviu Vexler, President of the Jewish Communities in Romania and member of parliament: "Our friendship, the friendship between Romania and Israel, this indestructible bond forged between our nations, is not founded solely on diplomatic cooperation. It is not widely known, but there is also a blood connection between the two countries."
