Unprecedented tribute from Romania: Yesterday (Wednesday), the Romanian Parliament held a special joint session of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate to mark the Day of Solidarity and Friendship between Romania and Israel.
The ceremony took place at the Parliament Palace in Bucharest, attended by the parliament's leadership, government officials, and an official Israeli delegation. Established by law, the event featured speeches dedicated to strengthening political, economic, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Silviu Vexler, President of the Jewish Communities of Romania and Member of Parliament: "Our friendship—the friendship between Romania and Israel—this unbreakable bond formed between our two nations is not founded solely on diplomatic cooperation. It is not widely known, but there is also a blood connection between our countries."
