The Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp is celebrating 8 years since launching its inaugural flight this week. To mark the occasion, it is launching a special promotion with flight prices starting at just 43 to selected destinations across Europe.

The list includes Athens, Thessaloniki, Barcelona, Larnaca, Dublin and other destinations in the company's European route network.

The offer is valid for bookings until May 22 and for flights during the 2026 summer season.

Example of special prices:

-Thessaloniki from 43 €

-Athens from 43 €

-Larnaca from 45 €

-Barcelona from 60 €

-Tirana from 70 €

-Dublin from 70 €

Symbol of Recovery and Resilience

But beyond the operation and celebrations, SkyUp's success story has also become a symbol of recovery and extraordinary resilience in the European aviation industry in recent years.

The company, which operated its maiden flight in 2018, grew rapidly to become one of the most prominent airlines in Ukraine. But with the outbreak of war in Ukraine and the closure of the country's airspace, its operations faced a dramatic challenge.

Instead of stopping operations, SkyUp quickly adapted to the new reality: the company moved its centers of operations to European countries, expanded its scheduled flights, charter flights, and aircraft leasing (ACMI) operations, and managed to continue operating even during one of the most complex periods in the aviation industry.

Today, the company operates dozens of routes from countries such as Moldova, Poland and Romania to destinations throughout Europe and the Middle East, while continuing to expand its international operations.

The company's fleet includes Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft, and in the aviation industry it is considered one of the Ukrainian airlines that managed to make the sharpest transition to full international operations, while maintaining growth, continuous operation, and expansion even during wartime.
