In a message shared on social media, Bernal described the airline as a “strategic partner” in strengthening Andalucía’s position as a major gateway for tourism and international connections.
According to the official, a Vueling aircraft featuring Andalusía branding will now promote the southern Spanish region across European destinations served by the airline.
“Andalucía continues to gain altitude as a great gateway,” Bernal wrote, adding that the initiative will help carry the region’s image and identity throughout Europe.
The campaign is part of Andalusía’s broader strategy to strengthen tourism promotion in international markets and reinforce its position as one of Spain’s leading travel destinations.
Bernal also emphasized the region’s ambition to expand its global presence while maintaining what he called an “Andalusian accent,” highlighting the importance of local identity and culture in international tourism marketing.
Andalusia remains one of Europe’s most visited tourism regions, attracting millions of travelers annually with destinations such as Seville, Malaga, and Granada.
